Abstract

Time in Moscow Saga by Wasilij Aksionow: Generation of Winter

This article is devoted to the problem of art time in the first of three books Moscow Saga by W. Aksionow. The book is titled Generation of Winter. The research material presents the art time in the novel which is based on historical events and actions starting from 1925 till the latest 1930s. The conducted analysis showed that horror in the policy of the country destroyed people’s confidence and awareness of existence leading to allabsorbing fear of unknown future.
