Abstract

Semantic processes in the national language vocabulary as a reflection of the national culture development

The article studies the range of issues connected with the interrelations between culture, mentality and language. It is pointed out that the processes of the mentality (either individual or social and national) and the language development are interconnected and depend upon the changes in the social and cultural conditions. The national mentality of an ethnos is dependent on the culture of the native language which is subject to the powerful social mentality impact. The article claims that the mentality development depends on the native language existing synchronically to it and subordinating it.
