Time as a System of Associative Representations

Abstract

In the article, based on the dictionaries of associative norms of the Russian, Belarusian, Ukrainian, Bulgarian and Turkish languages, time is considered as a system of associative representations of native speakers of these languages. Groups of associations are analyzed, among which universal and specific national reactions are found, caused by the peculiarities of the semantics and grammar of the respective languages.
